Argentina 2022 away shirt

The Argentina 2022 away shirt stands out with a vibrant and modern design that pays homage to the nation’s rich football history. Designed by Adidas, it features a bold, predominantly purple color scheme, a significant departure from Argentina’s traditional blue-and-white stripes. The choice of purple symbolizes inclusivity and diversity, reflecting Argentina’s broader cultural values.

The shirt’s most striking feature is the sublimated graphic on the lower front and back, inspired by the Sol de Mayo (Sun of May), the symbol found on Argentina’s national flag. The sun rays in various shades of purple create a dynamic and energetic effect, adding depth to the design. This pattern also represents Argentina’s burning desire for football glory, a nod to their illustrious history in international football.

The Adidas three stripes on the shoulders are in a light lilac color, adding a sleek contrast to the deeper purple background. The iconic Adidas logo and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) crest are placed on the chest, both in silver.

On the back of this shirt, we got Messi #10. The color of the name set matches perfectly with the color of the other details on the shirt. Definitely one of the best shirts I got!
